NHS Meningitis B Vaccination Service
A one-off, time-limited NHS Advanced Service to protect young people at higher risk of meningococcal B disease as they leave Year 13 or start university and residential education.
Service dates
- Runs 20 July 2026 – 31 March 2027
- First doses must be given by 31 December 2026
Who is eligible?
- Born between 1 September 2007 and 31 August 2008
- Born on or after 21 July 2001 and starting first-time undergraduate higher education in autumn 2026
- Born on or after 21 July 2001 and entering first-time further education in an eligible residential setting
